Blessings - Celebrate the Moment

I am guilty. I am guilty of forgetting how precious one moment in time can be. It is so easy to forget God's blessings. I can’t believe how swiftly I can swing into a negative attitude, forgetting how far God has brought me. If you could only see where God has brought me from to where I am today. He delivered me out of the teeth of addiction. He delivered me out of the hand of hurricane Katrina. He has done so much yet how easily I forget to celebrate each breath I take.

I am innocence. Yes, I stand innocence in the sight of God because of what Christ did for me on the cross. I am even innocence of forgetting. God knows I forget. God knows I will take His grace for granted at times and He loves me anyway. I celebrate the fact that God’s love for me is not based on my goodness or my ability to remember. I would be in deep trouble if God held grudges. I am so thankful God is not angry with me. How could He be angry when all He sees when He looks at me is the blood of His only son?

With all this in my mind, I celebrate my life and blessings. I celebrate God’s deep and lasting love for me. I celebrate the sunshine, the rain, and all this day might hold. I am thankful to be alive. I am thankful to have a purpose in life. I am thankful to be sober and a responsible person again. Wow, I am just thankful for life.

Let me encourage you to celebrate the moment. This second, the next second is not yours until it arrives. Celebrate this breath not the next. The next may come and then again it might not. We have so many reasons to celebrate the moment. Celebrate who you are in Christ. If your day is not going good, celebrate anyway. How can you be sad when life if so good?

Regardless of what you are going through there is still something to celebrate. Life can get hard. However, If you will look around for the good in each problem it will make the hard time tolerable. Gosh, I think the bible tells us to rejoice and give thanks even in the hard times. So, celebrate this moment in time with me and let’s magnify the Lord together. Blessings - Organic Farming
