Do you eat fruit on a daily basis? If you are like me you do not eat the recommended daily doze of fresh fruit. I just don't like to eat fruit. I would rather have a Snickers candy bar but fruit is essential for good health.

Do you know how much fruit is recommended daily? Five serving of fresh fruit is the recommendation. Ok, but how am I going to eat that much fruit when I don't like the taste. Just wait, I will cover force feeding in just a minute but for now let's look a little deeper into the benefits.

I am learning how to eat more fruit. I select several types of fruit by color. I like the color thing it makes it a bit easier to eat. I cut up a bunch of fruit and put in a big bowl. Every day for breakfast I eat as much as I can. After supper I put the fruit in a bowl and put non-fat whipped cream on top of the fruit and then I eat as much as I can. I have not learned to like fruit but I realize eating for health is different than eating for pleasure. I eat for pleasure, survival and for health. Like the Snicker is just for pleasure. The fruit is for survival and health.

The most important to remember is eat fruit, raw fruit when you can. You might try some dried fruits, organic fruit. I don't really like dried fruit but you might. Click on the banner below to find some dried fruit.
