I lived in South Mississippi for years and the subject of environment did not come up very often. Honestly, I did not give the green movement a second thought. To me the green movement was for Californians and hippies.

Today I am married to a California girl and I will never be a hippie. The truth is some of this green stuff is stupid but some of it makes sense.

I believe we need to stop the pollution, protect our oceans, eat healthy, take alternative medicine when possible and develop a deeper spiritual relationship with God.

I believe recycling makes sense, organic farming and pesticides are viable and calm meditations directed towards God will help solve a few of the major problems faced around the world.

I believe the green movement means helping your neighbor and sharing your experience, strength and hope with others. I believe we must develop alternative fuels, energy and power. I believe trees are important and we need to protect the ones we have and develop new forest.

I believe God created this world and we need to take care of this planet before it is destroyed. I believe the animals, fish and wildlife need our protection. I have developed a brand new look at life, nature and bees.

I believe you should get involved. I want you to take a pro-active role in this site and help us spread the message of hope to the world. I want you to write articles, lobby your congress people and vote to protect the world in which we live.

After hurricane Katrina I moved to Cambria, California the green capital of the world. I still don't hug trees and I still love hamburgers but going green, in as many areas as I can, makes sense to this ole country boy.

I live in the most beautiful "GREEN" town in the world. Living a fresh green life is fun and good. To me, the green lifestyle is far more than what you eat, drink and wear. Going green is a personal decision to live healthy, happy, joyous and free in as many areas as possible.

I have learned so much about going green and I am excited about the opportunity to give back all I have received. The thrill of sharing my discoveries concerning environmental issues is cool. I can even say the word cool with a California accent. Not really, I still have my southern accent.
