Many individuals cannot afford to buy ridiculously priced pharmaceutical drugs to treat their health problems.
I want to clearly state the recommendation on this site and on this page are no substitute for a licensed Medical Doctor.
I want to also make it perfect clear that some of articles included on this page need to be investigated thoroughly before trying the procedures. Boy, was that a mouth full. I know it sounds strange to list that warming up front but I am not in the market for a lawsuit.
I have used alternative medicine and it worked for me. I had heart surgery when I was 27 years old. I had an infection in the lining of my heart and they had to operate to solve the problem.
To make a long story short, I had to seek out a professional Doctor, an MD who treated with natural alternative medicine to correct the problem created by traditional methods. It worked and today I am perfectly ok.
I also take numberous vitamin suppliments and it works for me. I am a firm believer in alternative, holistic medicine.
What is ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE?
According to medterms.com alternative medicine is,
 "Alternative medicine: Healing arts not taught in traditional Western medical schools that promote options to conventional medicine that is taught in these schools.
An example of an alternative therapy is using a special diet to treat cancer instead of undergoing surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy that has been recommended by a Western physician.
Complementary medicine is different from alternative medicine. Whereas complementary medicine is used together with conventional medicine, alternative medicine is used in place of conventional medicine. See also complementary medicine, conventional medicine."
Natural Alternative Medicine is defined by Free Dictionary, "A variety of therapeutic or preventive health care practices, such as homeopathy, naturopathy, chiropractic, and herbal medicine, that do not follow generally accepted medical methods and may not have a scientific explanation for their effectiveness."
I don't have any thing to add to the definetion but I know it works and I believe anyone can benefit for researching the right natural method of treating any problem.
I personally use a number different ways to treat various problems. I will mention just one simple solution for back pain that works for me. Instead of taking addictive pain medicine I use ice.
I was told a long time ago by an addiction specialist, "It is not what you take for pain, it what you do for pain."
In other words, much can be done to stop pain that does not include addictive pills.
