The sound of waves crashing along the shore, the slightly fishy smell of salt air and blue skies along the central coast of California is absolutely wonderful. I do love the Pacific Ocean. We have to stop the pollution of our seas. Together we can stop the pollution! Why did you come to this page? Why did you do a search on ocean pollution? It really doesn't matter why the important aspect is your here now. Let me politely encourage you to consider what we can lose if we continue to neglect our oceans. That's what this page and this site is all about giving you encouragement, options and hopefully make you think about all we can lose if we don't take care of all God has given us.
Tons of Chemicals, among other things, are pumped into our beautiful blue waters every day. Honestly, as a site we didn't know exactly what to do to help. We talked about it and decided we could start this little project and hopefully it would take off around the world. All we ask if for a personal commitment to care about our seas. We are not asking for money. We are not asking for your time. We want you to look deep inside yourself and make the commitment to change your own thinking. This project is a personal project and it takes only your commitment. In fact, even if you don't fill out the card or print the card and give it away you can still make that commitment today. I WILL DO ALL I CAN TO CLEAN UP OUR OCEANS. I don't know who you are or what you can do, only you know and only you can do what you can do. So start today doing, at your level all you can do. I live about ½ mile from the Pacific Ocean on the Central Coast of California. I only have to walk a little ways before I top the ridge and see the ocean. It is spectacular. The sound of the waves crashing off the rocks and cliffs become a rhythmic pulse in the stillness is refreshing and calming. When the smell of salt air drifts in an open window it reminds me of the billions of sea creatures traveling along the ocean highways. How wonderful is God's creation. God created the oceans of the world and it is His will for us to take care of this great gift. The poisoning of our oceans can not be kept secret. Several times a year, if not more, on the Central Coast of California we receive alerts about the toxic chemicals in the water. The news media covers up many stories about pollution in our oceans. However, it can not be concealed any longer. We must stand together and take action on this issues. Do you care about the Ocean? Do you care enough to stand up and let your voice blast across the country, NO MORE POLLUTION in our oceans? If you care you have come to the right website. Caring means taking action. I am not a radical environmentalist however I do believe we should demand stronger regulations and punishment for companies who pollute the sea. It is time we stop pouring chemicals into the ocean through drains, oil spills and the misuse of poisonous pesticides.
