Clean Ocean Project Stop the Pollution

Keeping our ocean waters clean must become a priority not a second thought. I am afraid many only think about the purity of our seas when the media publicly reports on an oil spill or other disasters. If we don't pay attention to the quality of seas today, we will pay a tremendous price in the future. Not only do we depend on the sea the sea depends on us. We must work together to keep our waters safe and clean.
The Clean Oceans Project is gaining strengthen and we still need your help. Recently I received an email from a young student in Germany. He is doing a report on cleaning up our seas. He asked me for ideas and anything else to help him provide more information to his fellow students about what is being done to protect our seas.

I am going to send him this card. The card is simple but it will work. I ask him to get each individual in his class to simply sign the card, make some copies and get others to make a commitment to keep our oceans clean. Cleaning up the pollution in our waters takes commitment. It also takes a united voice. If we are to change the situation, it begins with one person making a commitment to stand up and say enough. Stop pouring chemicals into our water systems, drains, and stop oil pollution from killing the creatures of the sea. Stop… we have had enough.
Will you please print out this little simple card and pass it on. Any serious movement has a beginning and this is our beginning. Will you please help us? We are not asking for money or anything else only a commitment not to sit silently by and watch our clean water destroyed.
Warning - Not fit for human consummation!
This weekend my wife and I spent time in Pismo Beach, California and it was beautiful. The pictures at the top of the page are from the famous Pismo pier. While walking on the pier I noticed the sign warning about pollution. It didn't ruin my trip but the warning certainly had an impact. It is time to stop the ocean pollution.
What can we do to stop the pollution?
A FEW IDEAS
- Make a personal commitment to stop the pollution…sign ourcard and let us know you did sign the card.
- Contact leaders in your community and ask them to sign the card. Signing the card will help them to be aware of the problem.
- Contact government officials and ask them to sign the commitment card.
- Go to oil companies and ask them to join our movement.
- If you live by a body of water take a day and go clean the beaches.
- Tell a friend about this project.
- Come up with your own ideas and share them with us.
- Write articles on the subject and we will publish them on this site.
I don't have all the answers. I am just a good ole country boy who wants to stop the pollution. Without your help this movement will not have an impact. Together we can be heard. Please let us know if you stand with us in the movement. Contact us. I will not sell your email. I wouldn't even know where to sell the dang thing. I just need help. The Clean Oceans Project
