Out of Work - The Solution!

If you are unemployed and looking for tips and encouragement you have come to the right place. Several decades ago, I was Director of Counseling and Placement for the University of Phoenix in Las Vegas helping graduates find jobs after completing their field of study.

I don't have any leads, as of yet, on jobs but I do have a ton of encouragement to give away. We do have a green jobs page on this site with where to locate green jobs. The link is Green Job Information. This link can help you get in touch with those who have green jobs.

Going Green for Life is a certified GREEN website but to us going green means meeting the needs of the people in regards to finding jobs, personal health, physical health and helping our environment. It is fact, individuals in good health, mentally, physically, and economically will provide the needed resources to clean up our planet. So, for that reason we want to help you find gainful employment.

First, when a person is without gainful employment it seems depression, anxiety and fear can be a major factor hindering an individual from finding a job.

If you have lost your job due the recent economic crisis more than likely, you will go through a process of recovery.

You might start with denial. The "THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING TO ME SYNDROME." It is normal to experiences denial when a major loss occurs in your life. Losing a job is a major loss.

After hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of Mississippi many of us lost our jobs. I ended up in California doing something totally different from anything I had ever done in the past. I did experience denial and the "THIS CAN'T HAPPEN TO ME SYNDROME " did play effect my recovery

To regain focus a person has to accept reality and move on. Acceptance is a major key in over coming any major disaster in life. Let me encourage you to accept the fact you lost your job. Stop the blame game, get up and move on.

In the next several weeks I am going to be addressing several key issues concerning being out of work. We at "GOING GREEN FOR LIFE" want to help in anyway we can. However, we can only make suggestion for you to consider the rest is up to you.
